I think it’s safe to say that by now we’ve established a solid standard of including lots of cute DIY gift packaging ideas here on the blog and I am pretty happy about it! My design team gals love pretty packaging as much as I do and without even asking them, they all periodically share some great and beautiful inspiration for using their paper supplies to dress up their gifts! Keep it up ladies! I can’t get enough! Read on to find out how to create the darling gift bag below, shared by Jessy. I am in LOVE with the black and white polka dot bag that she used. It is a bit unexpected paired with some of the lighter colors from the Gather collection, but it works so well! The contrast is fabulous!
I absolutely love the idea of using scrapbook products as part of my gift packaging, especially when the products are as pretty as Maggie’s Gather collection! It definitely enhances the overall look of my packaging. The Gather collection has beautiful products and color combos…. lots of things that you can mix + match without taking too much time. First, I adhered a doily at the top of the bag. Next I cut two banners – one bigger & the other smaller. Just before I stuck the banners down, I ruffled crepe paper onto the doily for texture. To complete the look, I pasted chipboard & accent stickers. Sentiments are a great way to send the message across to your receiver! The next time when you have a gift for someone, try adding your personal touch to it! Your recipient will certainly feel the love *wink* !! xoxoxo Jessy
