Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog. I hope you are doing well. It’s Claudia here with you and today I’m sharing a layout I created where I mainly used items from this month’s gorgeous ‘Tell It’ Add On (which is a must have if you didn’t know already!).
I started by selecting some patterned papers to go at the top of my page and my eye was instantly caught by the beautiful plus sign paper from the Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection – it’s colorful but not too busy so I thought that would be a nice pattern to use. I love the blue/navy elements that are in this add on so I knew I wanted to use this (older) photo because of the navy that is in it.
I love these cork shapes from the Hazelwood collection by 1Canoe2 that are featured in this add on kit ; the white stripes make it look even more beautiful so I knew I wanted to use that as (part of) my title. I also used one of the cloud shapes that came in the pack, cut it in half and used it on 2 different places on the layout.
These tiny puffy stickers from Shimelle’s latest collection are adorable! I will admit that I wasn’t really where to use them at first but once I started placing them I found out that they can basically go anywhere and look like they are supposed to be there. I did a bit of layering behind my photo as well and folded/tore up the edges to give it a more interesting look.
If you have seen layouts I’ve made before, you might know that I don’t use thickers often. However, I absolutely love these colorful thickers with rosegold foiling from the new Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection so I made sure to use them on this layout to spell out the rest of my title.
I also added a bunch of washi stickers from the Pink Paislee Moonstruck collection to finish off the layout – the navy in that collection works perfectly with the colors I already had on my layout.
There is also a process video up on my Youtube channel if you are interested to see how this layout came together from start to finish;
Thank you so much for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed seeing this layout and that you feel inspired to start creating yourself!
